Hey girls, I was really sick all of Thanksgiving break so I am going to start working on the website this week. I just clicked on the URL and I think I might have gone to the wrong website. Are you sure you posted the right URL Darcy?
I think that because I selected a pre made template, it put it some example information. It is the website, because if you login with the gmail, your are able to edit it.
Thanks Darcey for making the website and account! I was able to log on with the url above. I went through and added in all of our pages in and the sub pages as well. I will have more time to work on it tomorrow but the layout should be all set (hopefully). Feel free to change anything. I had a question too, we have the Making stuffing under safety and nutrition but maybe we should put it under the Planning our meal page and then we can add that to the concept map meal as well, what do you guys think?
I just added my lesson plans, my digital story and our collaborative podcast to the website. I agree that we should add making the stuffing to the planning our meal page instead.
We also needed an image for each webpage so I went ahead and added those. Feel free to change any of the images if you find one that would better fit the topic.
I didn't have the time i thought i would today but i am going to put all of my material in on Sunday and then we will have all of the content in and a week to edit and create our final concept map!

I saw on elearning that we needed to link our website eval sites onto the website. I put them in the places I thought, but if you girls think they need to be put in a different space let me know!
I added End of Project Celebration to the concept map, and moved display boards so it connected with the different cultural holidays, but if it doesn't flow right feel free to change it up!
there is a little chain link icon in the tool bar part. Then you select website I then paste the link in the second box, and change the first box to what I want the title to be (it automatically puts the url, but you can delete it out). Let me know if you need more help! Im also happy to link them for you if you can't figure it out, just let me know.

Madelyn- are you using the Different Cultural Holidays link or are you only using different traditions? I linked one of my websites that we analyzed in the beginning to the first, so if your only using the second, i'll link it there :)
Yes I am doing the different cultural holidays! Also I went through and added things in except for my new resource and information part. I also changed the concept map because it had a blank yellow box that i just deleted. i didn't update our blog though, i wasn't sure if it was a big deal or not. Also i looked over the website assignment and make sure that for the digital stories that the videos are embedded into the page and not just linked. If you guys don't know how to embed it into the page i can definitely explain it. And i looked at the example web sites and i also emailed our professor but we have sub pages in our layout and the example ones do not have sub pages they just have the main ones. I will update you guys with the response of our professor but we may need to adjust the layout a little bit but it shouldn't be a problem. As i was looking over the assignment it also mentioned that each page has to have an email address linked at the bottom and i am not sure if we need them under each sub page as well but i will ask in the email i send as well. The virtual penpals is also done! Sorry this was kind of a lot in one message and if you have any questions let me know. I work until 7 tomorrow (Friday) and will be on the website and doing my new resources after so i will check in on the blog then and Saturday morning if any body needs anything let me know! Tomorrow i will also proof read everything as well and see if i find any errors or anything!
So no sub pages- I see someone combined mine for Costs and Fundraising, thank you! I will be making sure my pages are smooth today and will be on and off periodically through out the day.
I went ahead and linked all pages with the email contact, and I looked through pages for format issues (such as font that wasn't similar, etc.) because she said it should all be cohesive.
The email link does not work. I also uploaded our podcast as a youtube video since you cant add files to the home page. Also our standards page is private so the link doesn't open it but I can go and change it. Also there were some pictures that didnt transfer over when i converted all of the subpages into one page, so i just deleted those pictures. Thank you for formatting all of the pages the same. The website link that was posted should bring up the updated website even though it was posted before i made adjustments but i will double check and if it is different then i will post an updated url
